Your point that our books provide even more material for those who use AI to write - is discouraging...so our best hope is for ethical agents, managers and publishers NOT to support AI generated features, articles, screenplays or manuscripts...

Great response Wayne - yup that Genie is out of the bottle and for every 1 person who is ethical and understands AI value for good are about 8 others who don't...Ugh!

When you are right you are right. But the AI genie is out of the bottle, never to go back in. Human beings are both creative ( God knows you have proven that ) and LAZY! Sadly, few respect the hard work that goes into original works. I enjoyed doing cartoons, and other art work - but now in the blink of an eye it can be produced, and with more polish and accuracy then I could manage in hours of work. To say it's disheartening is an understatement, but the human race has created /invented lots of things we have all later come to regret. And AI is just one more - now I do any art work simply for me - on an as needed basis...and thank God for the gift. And AI did not help me write this either. Now we must do original works for our selves - because we all internally built on those great soles and artists from our collective pasts. AI is just doing it way faster and way easier...for a way LAZIER and less educated masses.

I totally agree and so do many other authors whose books are being stolen to provide material for those who "write" using AI
